Increased Exercise

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Well, though alot of times I do not want to exercise - I have realized how much better I feel after doing it. It has been I think 3 weeks since I've really started to get serious about it - - well, I've been doing Turbo Jam for 20 minutes - tonight I HAD to fight myself to do any - -and I did a different DVD and did 45 minutes - -45 minutes - double what I've been doing.

Hopefully I can keep it up - -I want to get to 60 minutes 5-6 times a week. That should melt away some of this weight!

It's hard but it is worth it - they say it takes 30 days to make something a habit. What a good one to have! You do feel better especially when you start seeing results!

You are doing great! Keep it up!! If you find that you're just too exhausted at night, maybe get up a little bit earlier and do it in the am before heading to work or just starting your day.

Trust me, I used to be a stay up all night kind of girl...till 1am etc. But once I made myself get up routinely and workout in the am...I felt better for the rest of the day! Now, it is just part of my plan....and I goto sleep a lot earlier!

    Cheering FOR YOU!!!

emoticon That's awesome! I've been such a slacker this week! emoticon My schedule has been a little strange. I'm getting back on track today, though!

I think everyone has days where they just do NOT want to work out. Those are the days we need to do it the most. Otherwise it's easier to quit in the long run. I'm so proud of you for more than doubling your minutes, especially on a day where you really didn't want to exercise at all! emoticon

I'm like you - somedays I just don't want to exercise at all but I know I have to. It's the only way I'm going to lose the weight I need to lose. For me dieting alone just won't do it!
