It Ain't Easy!

Well, here goes, I've never blogged before, a first time for everything. There is just no easy way or magic solution to this dieting, its calories, calories, calories and I've finally learnt that. After 11 weigh-ins, I'm down 14 pounds, I would have liked more but am happy with this. I had set my goal of 40 pounds for July 1st, well that isn't going to happen and I now realize that its not a realistic goal for me. I am definitely noticing a difference, in my looks,how I feel, and how my clothes fit. I'm loosing inches and when I look in the mirror, I like what I see. I am now aiming for 175 as my goal weight and if I don't make it by July 1st, I'm ok. with that. I shall continue to count calories and exercise 5 x a week and take one day at a time. Counting calories allows me choices and I love choices so its onwards to my goal I go! emoticon

    Wouldn't it be great if we could just wish the weight away or take a magic pill and wake up thin;-) You are doing great. I know for me just getting into smaller clothes and watching my double chin shrink is a big ego boost..... and I have cheek bones!
