Well, yesterday marked 1 week at for me. I've checked in every day, kept track of my meals and exercise, browsed recipes, and joined groups. Has it helped? Heck yeah!

Already I can tell a difference in the way I think. I don't view food as a rival - now I just look forward to combining different foods to reach my nutrition goals!
Having a water counter is great too. While I still have to have my daily Diet Dr. Pepper (caffeine addict), I keep a 24 oz. water bottle on my desk and refill it at least once during my work day. I'm not quite up to 8 glasses a day, but I'm averaging at least 6.

I had been exercising fairly regularly beforehand, but now I don't dread it - I look forward to breaking a sweat! Having a visual reminder of how much I've done is really inspiring me to do more. I've dusted off my bike and rediscovered how much fun it is to ride around my little town, something I haven't done since high school.
The best part is that getting active at home as well as in the gym has been a lot of fun for me AND my kids. We've been going to the park or playing outside every evening, and that time with them means a lot to me.

It's been an awesome week, and I'm so happy to have found a site like this! Everyone I've talked to has been so supportive and inspirational - thank you!
