Still muddling through
Thursday, April 16, 2009
This week has been like the last few: a lot of work, and a lot less exercise. Still, I managed to get out on my bike last Sunday. I only biked about 12 miles, but I had to work very hard at it because my front wheel got out of alignment, and with the brake impinging it was harder to pedal. I had my daughter and a friend of hers with me, and they were way ahead of me the whole way. Fortunately, I was able to get it fixed right away, so it's ready for this weekend.
I also did my Tuesday run and my Thursday run, so I am on schedule for the week. Tuesday it was raining hard, so I had to do it on my treadmill at home, which is my least preferred place to do it. Today the weather was glorious, and the days are getting long enough that it's still light when I get home from work, even though it is later than it ought to be.
My husband is still waiting for his clearance. My work is still interesting, but the micro politics are as intractable as always. It's not fun, but like the little nut, I'm standing my ground...
