week one results!!! I lost 7 pounds!!!

Weighed on Saturday morning and was down 7 pounds!!!!! That got me motivated to stay on track through a Sweet 16 party(mexican food and cake). Took mostly meat and had only 6 chips and loaded on the salsa. It helped that we helped set up and clean up, moving lots of chairs and tables and such. It definitely helped.
I even survived picking up McDonald's for everyone who was helping set up---I ran by the store and got hummus and snap peas to munch on instead of a cheeseburger and fries.
So what's up for week 2??? Keep tracking food and make better choices, try some new recipes, drink my water( it helps a lot!!), keep doing those strength exercises, treat myself when I reach my intermediate goals.
And if I lose the first 14 pounds sooner than expected??? Reset the goal another 5-10 pounds. After Hawaii in June, I'll set 3 month goals until I get where I REALLY need to be, feeling comfortable, increased stamina, looking decent in shorts. It's not so much the #'s as it is how I'm feeling and how my energy is!!!!!
I can do it!!!!!
