I havent had the nerve to weigh myself lately, but Im pretty sure I gained back everything I had lost. I tried keeping some of my good habits like cooking with turkey instead of hamburger, and drinking diet pop instead of Mountain Dew. In the end those small things dont make a differance without the complete commitment. Pleasing my family with my new healthier menu was immpossible. So why bother working out without the healthy food to keep me going. Pictures I used to think I looked huge in make me think "I wish I looked like that now." So, my hubby and I made a pact that he would quit smoking and I would go back on my healthy lifestyle track. With him fighting nicotine cravings, i'll be motivated to go on nice loooong walks. I hope to be logging in daily again right after Easter.

I wouldn't be too discouraged about your small changes you were making. Eventually, those small changes do add up to a big result. Things aren't going to happen overnight, but every step counts. And I think your steps are in the right direction. It's exciting to hear that your husband is on board as well. Keep both of you motivated with small rewards.

    You can do it!!
