My exercise problem

Monday, April 06, 2009

My problem is that I get all excited in the morning to work out. Then, I get distracted by little things like the laundry, or more often the internet. It’s not that those things are bad, it’s just that well I need to make time for my exercise. Especially now that I’m in a competition with my family to see who can be the most fit. By the way, Daniel, you’re going down! Ok, so I’m excited about this because, even though I’m a big slacker, I’ve been good at maintaining my eating habits so I’m still the same weight as I was a few months ago. So hopefully this little competition can get me the rest of the way there. So then maybe it’s hitting at the root of my problem, motivation. My motivation wanes when I realize I’ll have to drive all the way over there to run, or get in my workout clothes to go the smelly gym. Maybe I should join a gym. They’ll have better machines, that’d be nice. But then I’d have to drive all the way over there. So maybe I’ll just get more creative. I do need to work on strength training, so the gym would be helpful for that. So if I really want to beat my lil bro, I'm gonna have to get off my bum and go run. Luck y'all
