June 1925 - April 2009 Thank you to all my friends who helped me thru this time. He is gone now and not suffering anymore and for that I am thankful. He will be sorely missed by all of those who loved and knew him. emoticon emoticon emoticon Uncle Babe!

    I just got home to read your blog and I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss! I hope you find peace in knowing that Uncle Babe will live forever in your heart and in your memories and I am sure that from what you have told all of us about your relationship, that he was thankful to have you be such a great part of it!

    Time heals the pain, but our memories last a life time!

    I'm SO sorry, friend. I know you were preparing for this day, but that doesn't make Uncle Babe's passing any easier!! I pray that you find comfort in the memory of what a special man he was, and still is.. that will never change.

    I thank God that he gave you a little ray of sunshine a week or two ago, by when he was alert and able to share some closeness with those around. That was a special gift.

    All those kind words you said to me just a few short days ago are now coming back to you girlfriend. I so know the pain and heartache you feel at such a huge loss, and I know the only remedy for such pain is time lots and lots of time. Life moves on and the thing that amazes me when the world looses such a wonderful person is how much that is know the next day the sun comes up and life marches on and all we can do is hold them forever in our hearts. He loved you that is what you hold on to and remember, I know the day will come when we will see these great men again....in HIS time.
