Gearing up or hunkering down....

Saturday, April 04, 2009

Winter seems to be making it's (hopefully) last stand for the year. It seems it always swoops in to tell us that it knows that we know that it will be back.... Much like the terminator.

I bought some oreo cookies so I could make an Easter treat, but seems that somehow that package got opened up and they are disappearing. I don't know how that happened since I'm the only one who lives here.... Maybe it is my alter-ego....

I guess I'm going to have to burn a few calories to make up for my oreo transgressions. I will be scrubbing upstairs and painting and I am thinking some Pilates at home would be a good idea today. I sure don't want to go to the gym -- I think I'm going to just stay home for the rest of the day/weekend.

Step away from the oreos! Grab you paint can and brushes and come here! emoticon After you burn those calories painting MY spare bedroom, we can do pilates together. emoticon

I think this last brush with winter has got all of us feeling stir crazy. I know I am so ready to be outdoors and not shoveling snow. SIGH

My DH bought two bags of Oreos 3 weeks ago and I just brought one out Thursday. They were all gone by noon and I didn't eat any. It's not that I don't like them, I do, but I just don't start, not even a nibble! Oh, yeah, I did eat a broken sliver today but that was it! Sleepeating-it's a possibility!
