Mirror, Mirror

Friday, April 03, 2009

The mirror is not biased. As much as I don't like to look in the mirror, I have to everyday. Sometimes, I am not bothered by what I see. Sometimes, I am. Today, I see a 40 year old woman who feels like 29, because I liked being 29 (once upon a time). Sometimes I see an old woman.
It has become difficult to look in the mirror, seeing myself overweight, more gray hairs, more wrinkles. I like who I am on the inside, but outside I am not so well pleased.
What I need to start doing, is using my internal mirror and let it radiate to my outer shell. That definitely is easier said than done. As I make this journey, inside and out, may the inside meet the outside and I look as good as I feel.

I see a happy, fun person! I'd rather have a face that shows my inside beauty and life, than one that looks plastic!! I hate aging too....I'm getting more lines around my eyes, lips, more gray hairs (and covering that up quite nicely!!). But, when I put make up on and do my hair, I don't see any of that....it all seems to melt away because I've made myself feel and look good! If you feel good inside, you'll look good outside because you'll take care of yourself....and you look great!

I don't see wrinkles... I see laugh lines. If your able to
laugh in life, you're doing okay!!!

Keep up the positive self-talk! You can become anything
    you want to be!!!

    Be silly this weekend!
