End of Week 2

I'm sorely disappointed with my weight loss for week 2--only half a pound. Where did I go wrong?
I added exercise this week and was very consistent with it. Worked my butt off actually so expected to see a bigger difference on the scale.
The one area I really fell short was in my calorie intake. It was below the minimum 5 out of 7 days. Would this have had a significant impact? I'm confused.
Water intake was good most days. If I counted more than just water in my fluid intake, then I did extremely well. No drinks with calories so all is good there.
I go into week 3 disheartened and deflated. If I worked so hard last week for half a pound, what will I possibly have to do this week for more than that? *sigh*
