What a difference tracking makes

This week I have made every effort to track what I am eating. I must admit it takes a lot more time and effort, but seeing it makes it worth it. I have had some good days and some bad days. Mostly good. I am finding most of the foods in the system either by Sparkpeople or by some other Sparker who added it.

I also joined the Done Girls Spring into Summer Challenge. I am a Sandcastle Sister. Hence, all of the new beach and sandcastle pics and themes. I am really excited about it. One of our challenges was to weigh and measure ourselves. I was a bit disappointed when I weighed and was 4lbs heavier and my measurements were the same as they were at the beginning of the month. While I am disappointed I am more determined than ever to see things change. I have added strength exercise and I know muscle weighs more than fat. But also if I am adding muscle I should be losing fat. How it all works I really don't know. I just want to see results. That's all we all want results. That is why we work so hard monitoring what we eat and working out 5 to six days a week for an hour or two. Results! So while I don't see them now - I know I will. I don't have the heart to move my ticker yet, but I will. Onederland belongs to me and I am getting it back!!! One Done pound at a time!! Let's go people, let's make it happen.

    The nutrition tracker has been an absolute must for me and one of the reasons I have managed my calorie counts so well. Couldn't do it without it!

    Girl, you are so POSITIVE!! That's what I love about you!! :-) You already picked yourself up and brushed yourself off, so just move on!! I am quite proud of you and you truly do inspire me to be POSITIVE along this weight loss journey!! At times it can be challenging!! With that ATTITUDE, there is NO reason why YOU can't make it to goal!! Keep up the good work!!

    BTW, the nutrition tracker is a huge eye opener. Tracking is a great tool...I have even opened mines up for others to see...ACCOUNTABILITY is what works for me. I get embarrassed if I snacked to much or if something is out of whack...Anyway girl, you CAN do this!! As you already know, WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!

    The nutrition tracker is the main reason I joined and I have to admit it was eye opening. I work out like a champ...but sometimes out of pure "convenience" I get fast food. That was doing nothing but undermining all my efforts. How surprised I was to see just how much I was eating on the days that I had fast food. (With the exception of Subway. Gotta love them!) Now I try to avoid it as much as possible and if I do cave...I go with Subway. Good luck girlie. I know you can do it!!!
