Emotional Eater...NOT!

So, as you all know...I struggled with emotional eating for years, as a result of my battle with depression!

So yesterday, I had a great healthy meal planned (well at least mostly healthy)...Honey Soy Salmon (Recipe from Spark which was awesome), Fresh Steamed Green Beans, White Rice and salad... So I was very thrilled....I went to my workout class and had a phenomenal workout, and then it happened...I got into an argument with someone rather close, and it made me SOOOOOO angry! I looked at that food, and my first thought was...Ditched that and eat something fatty (i.e. Pizza, Pasta etc.)..But my determined mind said...LYASHIA PULL IT TOGETHER...Your on track to a healthier lifestyle... Can you guess which little voice I listened too? You got it...The healthier lifestyle choice is what I made last night (Minus the small:::And I do mean very small portion of rice with sugar I had emoticon...

So I'm very thankful that God is helping me grab hold of that needed determination! emoticon

    Hi there!

    I am right there with you Spark friend. Have you ever tried a partial raw diet...veggies and fruit.
    Read up on it, it helps with emotional eating and cravings.
