Sunday's Binge

I did pretty good Sunday until about 8:30 p.m. I have a rule that I don't eat after 7:30, but last night I knew that I was going to break that rule. I kept thinking about having something to eat and made a conscious decision to eat. Once I started, I just kept going. I decided that I wasn't going to beat myself up about this, but that I would just get back on track today. I really hadn't had a binge like that for a while (and it wasn't as bad as it could have been) so I'm just going to let it go. I went and exercised and am tracking my food like usual.

    It happens. I used to let that take me off track but, like you, I have accepted that it will happen and I just compensate with more exercise and diet later. Good for you to get back in gear immediately. emoticon

    Good for you for getting back on track right away! We all make mistakes or go off our plan. The trick is to do what thin people do and what you did--get back on plan as quickly as possible. Give yourself a big pat on the back for getting back on track! It's great exercise! Liz
