Day 3 of my new lifestyle

The alarm went off at 7:00 and I actually was ready to get up! Don't remember the last time that happened. I have come to the conclusion that all of those bad carbs I had been eating really bogging me down. By eating the right carbs I am giving my body the energy it needs! That stubborn scale has finally moved too! I was so excited to see 155.0 this morning! I has been so long since I have seen that number. But truly the scale doesn't matter, I mean it is nice to see it go down, but the way I feel is rewarding enough. My skin looks great, I have energy, and most of all I am never hungry!
So day 1 & 2 - did ok. It was a weekend, and I am not so great on the weekends...too many temptations at home, so I did have a few tastes and bites here and there and a couple of glasses of wine. But I still managed to lose .6 pounds. I am still getting used to the ratios and which foods satisfy which nutrient, but I am getting better at it. Also my portion sizes have gone down dramatically. By eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours you really don't need to eat a lot at one time, so I have more like mini meals. I am happy and I feel great!
