This still isn't easy.

Thursday, March 12, 2009

I've been doing this 2 years and I've lost 108 pounds, and this is still really hard sometimes. I was gonna have one pretzel from my boyfriend's bag of pretzels. It wasn't in my nutrition tracker that I always fill out the night before, but it was only gonna be one. One! And it snowballed into many pretzels, a banana, a big slab of chocolate and a whole pizza. Shouldn't I have a handle on this by now? How am I gonna keep the weight off forever if I always have this hanging over my head? I feel disgusting and I can't stop crying.

    Hey there girlfriend -
Have you looked lately in the mirror to see what you've accomplished. 108 POUNDS LIGHTER. Okay...you slipped and went on a binge. Now pick yourself back up and go forward. Don't put yourself on a guilt trip whereby you decide to continue to eat all that unhealthy food. Stop your crying and be proud of what you've already achieved. Your a true inspiration to me. You are at the weight I want to be and you did it all on your own. And yes I agree that it's hard but you have managed to take control and you are so close to reaching your final goal. So sweet lady, put a smile on that face, plan your menu for tomorrow and go forward! Once you reach your goal and are maintaining, you'll be able to "treat" yourself to those foods you love but your outlook will be so vibrant you'll have total control. I am so proud of what you have achieved for yourself.
