Day Ten

Still moving along, slowly but surely. I didn't really start eating 100% healthy until March 7th, so I guess today is really Day 5 :P

Things are going well. I'm still on Atkin's Induction, day 5, obviously. My carb counts have sometimes been over 20grams, but only because I have an obsession with salad, and those extra carbs have come from vegetables. My average carb intake has been about 30 grams. I'm trying to focus on getting it down to 20, but I can't quite figure out yet how to meet my calorie & protein goals without over shooting my carb goal!

It comes with time. :)

    Are you vegetarian? You get your calories and protein by eating meat, eggs, cheese. Don't worry about the fat. Atkins will burn the fat.

    I love my salads and veggies.

    My thinking is that I'm doing this for life...and for health...so it doesn't make sense to cut out veggies and salads.

    Fortunately the weight is coming down (I'm on day 3) so, according to the scale and the way I feel, I am pretty sure that I'm doing things right.
