What will it take?

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

I can't believe we're already in March! In my last blog I wrote that my scale read 230lb and that I was obsessed with weighing myself and now I am 8lb heavier!! I have totally regressed to my old eating habits. I feel awful. I'm in the midst of a career change and that is all I've thought about the last couple of months. I decided to go back to Culinary School to finish up my Baking & Pastry degree. I'm unhappy that I'm gaining weight. What will it take for me to take my weight more seriously???

1st Congrats on going back to school I'm very Proud of You!! 2nd trust me girl i know what you are talking about. But maybe you need to take a minute get your life where you need it to be and then get back on the wagon. Stress make you gain weight...so thats probably why you gained because you are trying to do to much!! But we are all guilty of that...so hold on make small changed instead of big ones until you are fully ready to get back on the wagon. And trust me my hand will be right there to pull you back on the wagon!!

    Luv U Gyrlie!!

Wow, congrats on going back to culinary school, that is a huge thing. You have to be so proud, it is not easy to make a decision like that and one you should be proud of. I work in the teatre but cooking and baking is one of my passions and have often thought about going to culinary school, but making that step is really scary. You should definitely celebrate the fact that you are making such progress in that area, feeling positive about one aspect of your life will help in the weightloss. I can't imagine how hard it must be to stay on track when you are around pastry and desserts all the time. Hang in there and you will soon have at least two things to feel positive about. Also try to limit getting on the scale to once a week. The body is funny it fluctuates so much and getting on more than that sets us up for disappointment. Keep your head up high!
