At first I wasn't feeling so well this past weekend. Then I realized it was allergy season, and that I probably needed to start taking my allergy medicine more regularly. That cleared things up nicely. The weather was unusually nice for early March (mid-70s).
Saturday I went out for a relatively short bike ride with my kids (6 miles) along the C&O Canal Tow Path. Sunday I went out again, this time by myself. The Tow Path goes all the way from Maryland to Ohio, so you can going and going. I went 11 miles, from Great Falls to Seneca Creek and beyond. Then I turned around and went back. It's a good thing I turned around when I did, because I started feeling very fatigued on the way back. It was beautiful. I had a little bit of soreness today, but it wasn't very bad.
I'm looking forward to going out again next weekend, weather permitting.
