Day 1 of 5K & bench press plan

Yesterday was day 1 of my 5K & bench press program & it went well. Did a quarter mile walking warm-up, then ran for a mile straight at 4.7-5.0mph. Afterwards warmed up for presses w/ the barbell, then did an easy 95 lb. 6 x 6. This is the first time I've actually trained for a 5K & I'm excited to see what happens!
Tonight I've got yoga class & can definitely use the centering. The pendulum has swung in the other direction & I'm struggling w/ body image today. Will do my best to challenge those negative thoughts.
