Shred - Day Two

This is going to be a quickie post because I should be making my way to work soon, but I wanted to document Day 2 of 30-Day Shred. Let me just start out by clarifying something: I am in no way gaga for Jillian Michaels. I've seen *maybe* two episodes of Biggest Loser, and I really just have to roll my eyes at her when I'm doing her workouts. If I were one of the two women behind her, demonstrating the moves, I would smack the smug right off her face every time she referred to me as "Buddy." (e.g. "It's hard, isn't it buddy?") *shudder*
Anyway, JM hating out of the way, Day 2 went fine. I've been doing Level 1 even though, like I mentioned yesterday, I thought of myself as a little more hardcore than that. With all those push ups (30 seconds of non-stop push ups X 2), I'm glad to be at the lowest level! The only thing that made Day 2 harder than Day 1 was being so SORE from yesterday! I guess I don't do squats on a regular-enough basis because my quads were like, "WTF, man?!?" I've been waddling all over the place at work. When I tell people that I'm doing the Shred, I make sure to tell them that I haven't joined the JM cult - because seriously that's what it feels like the way some people compare her to JC himself. LOL.
