"real" triathlon, here I come. ;)

I completed my first indoor triathlon this year, and am stepping it up to an outdoor triathlon this summer...it is a Sprint distance, but still very "real."

My friends from the gym and I will be doing an outdoor triathlon on June 13...I have lots to train for by then! Unfortunately all the running has aggravated my knees, so it will be a few days off of running, lunges, and squats until it's feeling better...especially since my first 5k in 6 years is 10 days away! I'm hoping it warms up by then since it's still in the 30's here...

I'm also doing a Lent challenge with someone from work - giving up laziness - work out for at least 15 minutes a day, every day...so far I've been able to keep it up. No evidence of that on the scale yet, but oh well!

    Congrats on completing your triathlon! You will do great with your 5k's coming up because you have definately put in the hard yards.

    Remember to relax and have fun in the tri - it's short and you can do it - you've trained your body to do it.
