Getting started!

Since I dont own a scale, I got started with a guess for my current weight based on my previous "heaviest" weight. After one week of doing really well, I was excited for my first official weigh-in (which for future reference will be on Saturday mornings). Needless to say, I was momentarily horrified and disappointed to see that my weight was more that my initial starting weight guesstimate - I had guessed 148 - the scale said 151. Oh well, I quickly surmised that it is just a number and the important thing is that I did do really well my first week. I improved every day and have just added an exercise plan. I can tell that my clothes are already fitting better and I feel better so that is what is important. So, I adjusted my weight goals and remain on track. I know I'll see that 148 in the next week or two so stay tuned, I'm in it for the long haul! emoticon
