One major test down...

Well I had my MRI done and that looked good. Now I just need to get to the bottom of why I am having these horrible migraines when I try to work out. Its the pits. Leaves me exhausted, nauseous for days and discouraged.
On the up side, I am able to start using the treadmill and the elliptical again as long as I keep my heart rate at a good level.
I have another Dr. appointment today. I am hoping for some blood tests to reveal something off so I can fix this issue asap.
I am trying real hard to stop feeling so negative. I think the economy does not help either.
But- I am on my way to figuring out my problem. Next stop- chiropractor and xrays of my spine.

    Good to hear that you can get back to your workouts. I have been keeping a close eye on my maximum heart rate (161) when I'm on the elliptical. I don't like to go over 155. When I see it climbing I slow down the RPM. Usually it starts in minute 39-42. By the time I hit 50 minutes, I'm back down to 140 for the final push to one hour.

    I've been using the "Karvonen" (
    ate.htm) method for figuring my maximum heart rate, but keep yours within what you've been advised to.
