I work with the children in my church and that keeps me pretty busy. Yesterday (Sunday), I had a very nice gentleman in my church stop me as I was dashing to get ready for children's church and tell me that he could notice that I've lost some weight. I immediately replied with "Wow, I Love You!" (I think my response startled him - so i continued with "You say the sweetest things to a lady".)

Knowing that I have not lost enough weight yet to really notice, I was still so flattered. That gave me motivation!!!!!!!!!

If I can get stopped in the hall like that for just losing a few pounds, what would happen if I really dropped some of this weight?

Just a few kind words have re'sparked' my enthusiasm to get moving, eat better, and shed some pounds. I want to know what he will say to me next week!

Good for you! And that is why it is so important that we all bolster each other up. Of course, it seems to mean more coming from a man - perhaps because they don't notice as quickly. Let us know with anymore forthcoming compliments! And keep up the good work! It's motivation for all of us!
