My darn plateau

Saturday, January 31, 2009

I have been stuck at a plateau for about a month now and it's so frustrating. But I'm not giving up!!! I have accomplished too much to let it keep me down (ok, I am down somewhat, but I know that eventually I will break through it). I thought by now I would be at my "final" goal weight, but that's not happening emoticon

Any hints?
Thanks !

Thank you for your kind words, you look fantastic by the way; same thing happened to me at did you noticed that happened after 1 year the plateau, sometimes it's a way to make you happy with the weight you are at now. I realized that I want to be 128 lbs but I'm actually 141 now; the Curves workout is shaping my body but it also added muscle, you know that when they measure you the inches lost tell the truth and not the scale; anyway keep exercising daily I do because I know if I stop I'll be fat again in no time, the exercise is what keeps those ugly pounds away from us. You are now a size 6 too, I'm petite only 5'2 and I'm so happy that I now can buy clothes size 6 and or XS and they look great, I'm no good at posting pictures but my friend will help me soon but when I see the before and after pictures of you and the rest of our Sparkpeople, it's amazing what we can transform our bodies and minds and feel great on top of that. Congratulations and don't worry about the darn plateau, you'll break it before you know it. emoticon

I know what you mean. You'll get there. Intensify your workout routine?
