15 pounds gone away

So I got on the scale today and low and behold: 15 pounds gone forever. One month. One month and I have lost 15 pounds. How? Well let's look back over the changes I have made since being this journey on Jan 2.
1. Water, water and more water. You will not find me many times without a bottle (refillable) of water. I keep two pitchers of water in my fridge at all times to keep up with how much i drink now. I used to drink water some but mostly diet soda. Same calories but water is much better for me. I now allow myself one can of Diet Soda a day. Usually in the evening with a healthy snack.
2. Food: I got rid of any snacks that were not "healthy". I filled my fridge with fresh fruits and veggies. I bought lite bread and other whole grains. I started eating a better breakfast. I try to eat some kind of grain, some kind of dairy, some kind of fruit and some protein. I eat a better lunch. I snack mostly on fruit and vegetables but sometimes on 100 calorie packs. And I eat a healthy supper. I try to stay as close to the bottom of my allotted calories.
3. Exercise: I do some form of exercise every day. Most days I do two to three. I always exercise first thing in the morning when I get up. I do it before I eat so that my metabolism gets revved up before I start eating. I am walking most afternoons and try to do as much as possible. i started out at only 1 mile and now walk 2.
My goal is to keep it up. I like the way I feel better.
