A Fast Change

Fifteen years ago, from one week to the next, I was no longer able to walk without a great deal of pain. Soon, I was on crutches, in wheelchairs, and worked that way for the next 10 1/2 years. In 2000, I had to retire with a disability. Even with family help, I really couldn't take care of myself. It took 6 years and a broken leg to make the decision to come to this health care facility. Even with all the therapy that I could stand, It was decided that a wheelchair was my best mode of transportation. I'm lucky I can do everything I need to do by myself. I have been 99% happy with this decision.
I've lost 45 lbs. on my own. There isn't too much exercise that I know I can do, but will get the physical therapist to help. I'm brand new to computers so it will take time to figure everything out and make it work. I wish my son were closer so he could help.
