1 Whole Year Later!

Monday, January 26, 2009

I almost forgot about my 1 yr anniversary with Spark People yesterday! Wow, a whole year! I'm excited but a little disappointed and proud all at the same time....if that's possible. Well, I'm excited because I've stayed around for this long! I'm disappointed because weight wise I'm further behind now than I was when I began last year. Sometimes I ask myself if I can imagine where I would be or look like now if I had continued pushing myself throughout the entire year. I'm proud because despite being further behind, I can honestly say that I haven't given up--I'm still at it and I'm actually doing really well becoming more consistent with working out.

Despite my setbacks, my year with Spark has been a wonderful experience. I have met many wonderful people and have grown close to a few that have truly made my experience with Spark People a meaningful one. I am so very thankful for this site and it's Founder for making this all possible and for FREE!!!!

I am no where near where I want to be, but I'm certainly not where I used to be. I'm continuing my journey with a load of support and informative information behind me. I will not give up! No matter how many times I may have to fall or take a step or two back, I will continue to move forward and push towards my goals!

Here's to another year with the greatest health site on earth! emoticon
