This Thing Called Life...

I've had some really 'good days' and some 'bad days' as far as my weight loss destiny is concerned. Yesterday my husband and I treated ourselves to Chile's for lunch. As I was driving there, I thought OK They Have A Guiltless Grill Menu; I Can Choose From That.
But I was tempted by the other yummy options and chose items that were not healthy for me. Then I felt bad the rest of the day. (Stomach Ache)
We did that earlier this week too. We have found a local restaurant that we really enjoy. Some 'good home cookin'. The waiter told us how good their hamburgers were - and he was RIGHT! YUMMY!!! HUGE, JUICY, DELICIOUS BURGER!
Then I have my days where it is so much fun to see how much food I can eat on such few calories. I've found some great recipes that my family really enjoys and it is so much better for us.
I guess the moral to this story is to find strength in times of weakness (in a great restaurant). So my challenge this week is to find strength when tempted to 'cheat'.
I still need to be exercising more too. I let "Life Get In The Way" when it comes to making time for myself to exercise. My family, work and housekeeping seem to take priority. (sigh), I realize this sounds like an excuse, but there just aren't enough hours in a day to take care of all the things that need attention every 24 hours.
