Latest News..

So i'm really late in getting this post up.. my apologies.. i just haven't had the energy to sit and do much of anything that needed effort.. LMAO! even cooking.. i can't remember the last time i actually cooked a meal! it's been weeks!! anyway..

Had my ultrasound done last wednesday.. and guess what?! i was so far off it was crazy.. i was measuring big..but it's because baby is Breech! and at this stage 37/38 weeks (as of last week) i could have opted for the external version.. which is where they go and try to massage/flip baby into a vertex position.. a very painful procedure that only works 50% of the time and most of the time not without further complications .. such as a prolapsed cord, placental abruption, water breaking.. and it's painful as hell!! my cousin told me i'd made a good decision to NOT do the external version, as she had attempted it with her son who was breech, and it took them an hour and it didn't work and they delivered by emergency c-section anyway.

so here's my line up as of right now.. thursday 22nd pre-op visit, friday 23rd hospital labs and other intake info for surgery, and monday 26th scheduled c-section.
but as with all pregnancies..things don't always go according to plan.. so it's still a possibility of me going into labor on my own before Monday..

We're expecting snow tonight into tomorrow.. here where i live it's a big deal.. rural NC.. no snow equipment.. 2-4 inches.. the cities may just close down.. ugh.. i've got bad tires on my Discovery, and it's the prez. inauguration tomorrow.. I'm really feeling like Murphy is my guardian angel right now.

not to mention when i first found out i'd be needing a c-section i was freaking out.. i'm still scared/nervous about it, but i'll be at one of the top 5 medical facilites .. so i really shouldn't be too concerned. C-sections are a "routine" procedure, but it's still a major surgery.. i know with normal deliveries, i tend to bleed a bit more then normal..as it's a red-head thing..so that's got me a bit nervous going into a c-section..

well that's about it.. ill go through and see who was the closest to the due date.. but i'll still take guesses for height and weight.. i've got an approx. weight as of last week..but like i said it's an approx.
