First Journal entry

Today (well yesterday for most of you) was my first day on Spark people. One of my goals was to write in my journal daily. So here goes...

I heard an ad for spark on the radio on Friday as I was driving home from work. As I was stopped at the next traffic light, I quickly jotted down the website address and here I am! I absolutely love the site (well as much of it as I've seen so far, it's HUGE).

I've been looking for some way to lose weight that would help me along the way. I haven't been able to accomplish it on my own so far, well a few pounds here or there, but I can't keep it off.

This plan (website?) already seems like it will be a big help. I love the diet plans, and the fact that you can adjust them. The way the foods are broken down is wonderful. The four different methods that I've used singularly in the past are all together.

Didn't manage to get my strength exercise in today like I planned, but I did some extra cardio, so I don't feel like I failed. I will be doing some tomorrow, so it will get done!

Well I'm off to bed now, one of my other goals is to get 8 hours of sleep each night.
