Keeping my calories down!

I've been so HUNGRY this winter season! Even though I stay away from those high-carby sweet trigger foods, I keep gnoshing on one thing after another all day long. I turn to low calorie veggies quite a bit, but obviously not enough.

Feel good about ramping up my workouts, now if I can only pull the reins in on my appetite!

    HI there ! Hey thanks for the flowers - there were a real pick me up. No I am not in NZ but have dual NZ-Canadian citizenship as my dad is a kiwi. Currently I live in Ontario, but my husband and I would love to retire to NZ. I spent a month there last year visiting my dadj's half of the family - man it is beautiful.

    Anyway - I read your blog about the hunger and I can relate. Not sure if you would like these things, but they help me when I am getting hungry.

    1) cottage cheese with some vanilla and artificial sweetener - that's it. You can have 1/2 c, or 1 c - and then I put maybe 1/2 to 1 tsp of vanilla, more or less to taste, and same with the sweetener. It ALLMost tastes like vanilla ice cream.

    2) unsweetened almond milk with low carb chocholate protein. Mix it up and it tastes like chocholate milk but it is low low low on the sugar.
