I THINK This is Working....

I THINK all this hard work (and, yes, tracking every single calorie that goes into my body IS hard work) is actually producing results, but it's hard to tell on a daily basis. I'm so tempted to weigh myself every day, but I know that's not the best way to see believable results. I guess I'm just the type of person who wants immediate and ongoing feedback.

It was hard to wake up this morning and think, "Ugh, another day of running to my computer every time I want to eat." I very well could have messed up last night. I came home from babysitting and didn't feel like checking everything I ate first. I threw together some brown rice, leftover black beans, leftover chickpeas, lettuce, low-fat sour cream, salsa, and half a serving of tortilla chips. I didn't check the calories, etc. until AFTER I ate it all. Fortunately, I was still within my calorie cutoff, and I still had room for 3 low-fat Chips Ahoy cookies!
