Just finished W4D2. Since i haven't had a chance to run since last week, I thought it would be killer and sure enough it was. For the first time since starting, i had to stop and walk during part of my runs (first 5 minute). Ugh! The good thing is that in the past this would have discouraged me enough to say F it and just quit, but not today. After about ten seconds of walking, I got pissed and pushed on, started running and did exactly what i was supposed to do. I made it through all the rest of the runs without stopping. It wasn't pretty, but I finished!!!!

I think the problem is the elevations. Since i'm running further i'm hitting more of the sloped sections of my road and damn there is one steep hill! I figure it will just help in the long run so I'm hanging in there!

Here's to looking at shapely thighs and ass in the near future! Banish thee cellulite!

At any rate, I feel awesome..... Yaye Me!

    Starting off with hills will make it so much easier when you finish and do a race. Yeah, hard at first, but well worth it. Are you making sure you are stretching good?

    LOL...I used to yell back at the podcast too. Like "hey, guess what....I'm going to run more" Not weird if you are alone on the road, but people at the gym give you looks! emoticon
