New You Boot Camp Week 2 day 5

Finished my video this morning. Still a difficult one for me. Getting down on the floor and back up again is so painful. Maybe I should use getting up and down several times as an exercise!! I'm sticking with the videos and challenges but it sure makes my morning go fast since I have to leave for work at 2 p.m. Here in Central Ohio the temp will be -10 degrees tonight with possible wind chills of -20. Yikes! I hope my car keeps going. Went over my calorie limit yesterday again. Wish I could get back the determination I had when I first started SparkPeople. I know winter has a lot to do with my depression. Guess I'll just try and ride it out until spring!

    I found a computer in the hotel and wanted to stop and check up on you. It looks like you are doing great. Some of the joy has warn off but we are successful because we are still here and trying. Now if Spring would just hurry up and get here. Chris

    Congratulations managing 11 days in boot camp! I suffer from depression myself and can relate to how it affects food intake. What really helps me is a gratitude journal which I write in daily. It keeps me from feeling sorry for myself and making excuses.
