I started last week great. New year, new time to start over.
That lasted until about the end of the week. Then, the downfall came, my weekends! I never do super fantastic on the weekends! I am not too down though, because of the plans that we had for the weekend.
We went to an Orlando Magic game on Friday (versus the Atlanta Hawks, who we DESTROYED!). Mark and I have a "tradition" of going to Krystal on the way and getting some burgers. I did a lot better here than I normally do. I only ate four (much better than the six or seven I can normally down), and there was no soda for me! I drank water. And, I only had a few fries. So, at least I ate the bad stuff in moderation. At the game, as usual, we got our nuts and Mountain Dew. I did good at not eating the nuts, but, because I was not the one holding them, I had the soda. So, I was sipping on that through the whole game. Only a 20 oz though, and together, him and I did not finish the whole thing.
The game was GREAT! It was seat for soldiers night, and that hits home for me now, with my brother in the army. We got free t-shirts that have the Orlando Magic logo on them, and they say "honoring our heroes". And, the logo is in red, white and blue. I LOVE the shirt!
Also, at the game, I got a new watch. Orlando Magic, of course. Something that I did not have that I have wanted for a while. YAY!
My Saturday went as it normally does. I went to breakfast with my Granny, and we went shopping for the day. I got some super cute Christmas stuff from Hallmark on clearance. I spent a whole $6!! Lunch was at Sonnys.
The big plans for Saturday were during dinner. We went to Outback to celebrate Mark's 27th birthday. It was yummy! But, of course, not too healthy. I had two drinks (happy hour), we got two appetizers, fried mushrooms and a bloomin onion. Then, I ate a salad and like, two bites of my chicken.
Not too healthy on the whole.
Sunday was just a "relax" day. And, I made it just that. I did NOTHING! No exercise, nothing. Bad Bad Bad!
But, now I am back on track. I went walking yesterday and did my bootcamp video.
I went walking this morning too, and will do my bootcamp video later, as I want to do two of them since I am a little behind.
I ate a good breakfast the past two mornings too. So, I just have to stay on track. All I need to do is look at the ring on my left hand, and that is motivation enough that I can do this! I know I can!!
The picture is of my engagement ring and my new watch. I was going to give the boys a bath the other day, and took off my ring and my watch, and the way I laid them, I was just like "OH! A picture!".
