Well, since my little challenging episode with the boyfriend, a lot has happened.
I now take the stairs almost every time (unless I really have to get to a bathroom and I just need to stand still as much as possible till I get there), and that's up stairs in 3 different trains stations in the morning, and down 3 sets coming home.
I also make sure that I have to do the 15-minute walk home from the train station now, instead of going to town to catch the bus.
Also I am eating half-meals (more meals total, less food at each meal)- what a difference this is making! Together with a little exercise, this apparent relief to my digestive system is really making my body happy!
To the tune of loose pants and shirts that fit again, and feeling better. I am still not loving the stairs ... I still don't feel great at the top, but it's already much better than when I last blogged. It's not making me sick to my stomach any more.
Also if I don't eat breakfast at home, I get hungry (are those the ubiquitous "cravings?) in the evening and can't seem to get a grip on how much food I actually need ... I just keep randomly wanting to eat.
But when I do do breakfast, thos doesn't happen. And the only reason that I didn't know this before is that it never didn't happen before. Evenings have almost always been like that for me. So this is welcome, and new.
The fat is coming off in places that I have never, not even in previous weight loss attempts, seen it come off before. Which is pretty exciting. And, this is the first time that I set out to make some changes without a specific weight goal in mind. I am tracking it, but the point wasn't really to get to a specific weight (so I just set it for 10 pounds to start with). It was to build a habit so I could start getting healthier. I am so glad I stuck with it ... new and great things are happening!
