First Weight In Result of 2009

So I pledged to not get on the scale every morning just Friday morning my WI day and I succeeded in doing that this week. I also worked on eliminating the BLTs and grazing that I do. I was successful for 2 days. I did try to journal everything that I ate but some days were better than others. I also did cardio and or toning every day this week. I'm really enjoying the bootcamp workouts. They are a much needed change for me. I've also been working on varying my cardio. Some days I'll do 30, 45 or 60 minutes and will vary the intensity.
So I'm saying all of that to say that I lost 4.4lbs since Jan 1. I am very excited and this puts me back to my pre holiday weight. So now I have to get my mindset to expect a lesser number loss next week. Since the first week is usually the biggest drop.
My next hurdle is the weekend. Since I really don't have anything planned but maybe lunch out tomorrow, I will vow to keep to my usual eating routine and I should be ok. I'm usually good with eating out. So that should not derail my plans and I also up my cardio since I have more time.
So I'm excited to continue my healthy living. It makes me feel great and in control of my life.
