January Update
Wednesday, January 07, 2009
We had the most amazing (although bittersweet) Christmas and New Year's - we spent tons of time with friends and family and made phenomenal memories.
I've been eating clean and have been binge free for one solid month resulting in a 15 pound weight loss.
Steve has had 2 total hip replacement surgeries and we found out last night that he might have to have the most recent one re-done since it's been causing major problems.
Shelby goes in for an MRI in a couple weeks to see if she has to have a shunt put in.
Nanny (my Grandma) fell in her bathroom, crashed into her tub and hurt her ribs.
California's economy is having a few issues and both Steve and I have paychecks that will be effected when the governor makes the changes he is supposedly going to make.
On the bright side however, my mom's house has been for sale for 3 months and I signed paperwork today accepting the counter offer I made and the buyer accepted so now they have 17 days to do whatever tests/appraisals, etc. they want to do.
Shelby's loving horseback riding and Shane's digging wrestling. They both are doing great w/their art bereavement class.
Despite all the ups and downs, life's pretty good right now. I am in a great place and can't wait to see what the rest of the month holds.
