The fat laying under your skin is a consequence of pointless hording. Storing up on reserve stocks of fat serves no function when your survival is assured. You have not had to earn your sustenance the way labor intensive hunters and gathers, or farmers have. The natural produce of the land is not gotten as effortlessly and readily as technology would have you believe. Consumption becomes our elusive goal in this industrialized world. No one has a dire role or a clear purpose. Everything has been provided for, even in a plethora of shades. Your choices are endlessly eternal, and yet always inconsequential. It’s too easy. Life attains lucidity only during a struggle. It is achievement that brings fulfillment not indulgence.
