Once again, here I am. Ready to start this, and try and make it a permanent thing this time. I have a couple of goals to help me to hopefully stay on track.
We are going to Wisconsin for a family reunion in the middle of July. I am hoping to lose about 25 - 30 pounds before then.
BUT, the big goal is that I am now engaged! Mark proposed to me on December 26! So, the goal is to keep the weight off so that I look totally awesome for my own wedding!
So, I am starting by doing the new YOU Bootcamp. I have a lot of resources at my fingertips, and things to help me along. For instance, I got AppleTV for Christmas. Well, part of AppleTV includes YouTube. So, I have saved the New YOU Bootcamp videos to my favorites on YouTube, and from there I can pull them up on the big screen and do the workouts in the living room. Simple and easy.
Mark has also told me that he wants to start hitting the gym again. And, I know he is completely serious about it this time. He has been working out on his breaks at work. Lucky for us, they just recently opened a gym close to our home. So, we are going tomorrow to check it out to see about it.
And, I am starting to walk the neighborhood again. It worked really well for me the first time I tried, but then I just stopped. I blamed it on "working too much".
Also, I am on the Florida Sparkteam also. They have a challenge going from now until the beginning of summer. We are split into teams, and are tracking our everything. So, more motivation.
It is going to work this time. It has to.
