First Weigh In

Well, my official weigh in this morning has me down 3 pounds, so that is a good thing. However, I can't help but feel a little deflated because I really thought that my high weight when I started was just from holiday bloat. I figured at least 5 or 6 pounds would have slipped away by now, because I was really convinced that it was holiday "fake" weight. I guess I was wrong.

Anyway, looking back at my week it has been filled with its ups and downs. Of course New Years Eve was part of it. I also have been consistently on the high side or slightly above my calorie range. And I definitely did not work out as much as I had planned, although more than in the recent past, so that's something.

But, I did get an additional gadget for my weight loss quest - a Wii! I had been wanting one for Christmas, and my parents surprised me by sending me one. Of course, I don't have the Wii Fit yet, as it is sold out everywhere and I refuse to pay more than the retail price for it. But I did pick up My Fitness Coach yesterday and will be trying it out today. Of course, I do not view my Wii as a replacement for the gym, but I do see it as a fun way to rack up some extra fitness minutes.
