Thank God THAT'S over!

Well, I seem to have survived the holiday eating season. My wife, Lord love her, cooked up a storm, specializing in calories, and I, to my credit, ate most of them so as not to hurt her feelings. But I also cranked up the cardio a whole bunch to burn off as much of them as possible. I think it worked. I'm pretty much back to where I was before the eating season began, and I think I can safely back off on some of the cardio now. Not all of it, mind, since it's gotten pretty easy to spend a half hour or so on the treadmill at the gym after I complete my weight routine. And in a couple weeks it will be time to start working on bike fitness for the summer. I'm hoping to find it necessary to change my weight goals in six months. We'll see.
