How do you exercise when you have no motivation to do so?

    The way I look at it is that every time I exercise I am prolonging my life and the time I can spend with my daughter and maybe my grandchildren if I have any.

    That's one that challenges everyone from time to time, especially when you're just starting out.

    I think of it this way:

    Each workout makes me stronger.
    Each workout makes me fitter.
    Each workout brings me one step closer to my goal.
    Each workout leaves me feeling physically and mentally great!


    I find if I look at the big picture, like how far I still have to go, it gets discouraging. But if I just focus on being healthy for one day, it seems much more do-able, you know?

    Each missed workout is an opportunity missed to better myself, and I'm now that much further away from reaching my goal! I never thought of that until just now...thanks!
