Holidays

How can you love and hate something at the same time??? As a mother and grandmother I try to do everything I can to make everyone happy every day of the year, and when the holidays come around I find that no one is happy!! There is fighting over where they will go and when they will go. I don't care I just wish everyone could get along.
I know we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and it is a happy time but not here, with the families living so far away how can anyone go every where and make everyone happy. One will not be there if so and so is there and this one doesn't like that one. To me I just wish we could just give each family member their own day to be home for the holiday. on Monday is your day on Tuesday it is yours and so on down the line. Or maybe we could just forget about the holidays and act as if it is just an other day.

I agree-you can't make everyone happy because some people like to be miserable. Do what makes YOU happy, and let others do them same. I really hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Stop trying to make everyone happy. Their happiness is totally out of your control as you find out during the holidays and they're not showing you the respect for all of your efforts!
I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow and tell everyone arguing to knock it off. =)
    I love your background.

I sure don't put any effort into the Holiday. I saw a woman on DR. Phil talking about how much STRESS people have over it and she didn't want it. BOY, I sure can agree with her. I can't understand these people trapped in AIRPORTS in blizzards just to try to get home for a Holiday. emoticon
