Cards, Cards, Cards

I did nothing but make cards today, all for Christmas presents. I found quotes I liked, designed the backgrounds in Photoshop, arranged the text, printed out multiple copies, cut them all down to size, chose cardstock in different colors, cut and folded it into cards, attached the quotes, and even made some of the envelopes (big square ones). It seemed endless. I haven't even started wrapping, and I am working (at my day job!) until 5:00 pm Tuesday. I think I'll feel a great sense of relief the day after Christmas! I won't be going back to work until January 5, so I am looking forward to having some time to rest, exercise, and clean up my house.
For those following my Virtual Walk Across America, I'll try to get it updated tomorrow. I did a pretty good job of walking this week. You'll see. Friday I stayed indoors and went to the gym. The weather seemed too grim outside, and it was probably still raining. I took the lunch time spinning class. The music wasn't the kind that really keeps me going, but the regulars were very supportive and I got through it. I haven't decided whether I'll continue with the class, or stick to the treadmill. They tell me I'll get used to the tiny bicycle seat. It's hard to imagine that at the moment.
Right now, all I want to do is go to bed. See you tomorrow!
