Starting Over is Soooo Much Fun!

Just a short one tonight ... David and I went to the Westgate Mall to see if anyone is hiring there. He was off today. We got a late start out of the house - he wasn't feeling well and I was still recovering from yesterday's cold snap and fever. A hot shower got me going, though, and we left the house.. We took the bus, and walked about a total of a mile throughout the mall, mostly outside.
As far as food goes, I had several chances to make halfway decent choices while we were out, but they still didn't come out that great. On the other hand, they weren't abysmal. What I did notice was that it felt familiar to look at my choices and make the not-so-great one. Not the worst by far, but not really sticking with it and always making my best choice.
So that may be one of my big challenges in the months to come: overcoming the old habit of KIND of trying but not really doing enough.
Aside from all of that, we had a decent day, and enjoyed spending time together. Tomorrow I start a new job, so there will be a lot less of that, at least until David gets a day shift job.
Overall, I am excited about this 'starting over' business. I am making sure to get mre involved so I will have more responsibilty, and more accountability to others on Sparkpeople, which should help ... can't hide in the corner with my bad habits that way!
Here's to moving on ...
