Thanksgiving down, Christmas to go!

Thanksgiving day. I knew it was going to be hard in terms of diet. I have to say, over-all I did quite well. Thanksgiving dinner was the only meal I ate all day. I got my yoga in early this morning. I watched my portions and only had one serving of dessert! The rest of the day, I concentrated on visiting and spending time with family. I usually don't feel as comfortable with my husband's family because I see them less often and I don't know them as well, but I really enjoyed all the conversation and laughter. So much in fact that I lost track of time and before I knew it, we were leaving to come home. Right now, my kids having their baths. As soon as they are in bed, my husband and I will sit down to a movie and probably turn in for the night. This has been the most relaxing and heartfelt Thanksgiving that I've had in a very long time.

Onward to December! Starting tomorrow morning, it's time for me to begin working on my Christmas goal weight (175). It will be revolutionary if I achieve it. I haven't weighed 175 since Jacob was an infant. It won't be easy considering I'm still trying to get back to my former fitness level since the surgery. But I'm determined to give it my best go!
