Everything is coming together now

I was down 2 lbs at my last weighing, and I am enjoying the feeling of clothes that are starting to become too big. I have slowly started buying things that are a size smaller for work, but mostly haven't started wearing them yet. I have continued walking everyday in spite of emotional challenges over the last couple of weeks. The weather has been a factor too.

I may have to change my exercise routine a bit this coming week since the days are getting shorter, the temperature is getting colder, AND I'll be starting a 4-month detail in a new office on Monday (just across the hall from my current one). I expect to be busier, but I am really excited about it. I love being busy.

I may actually start going back to the gym at work and perhaps using the treadmill or starting to participate in exercise classes a couple of times a week. We'll see.

I am being very cautious about arm exercises right now because I have had tendonitis in my right arm since June, but I have an appointment to get it taken care of on December 8, and I am cautiously optimistic that it's starting to heal on its own anyway. I go to a physiatrist (a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist) rather than an orthopedist (long story), and he has been taking good care of me for the last 10 years or more.

We are changing our holiday routine this year. We normally celebrate Thanksgiving at home, and then travel to visit my husband's parents during the week between Christmas and New Year's, but we are doing the opposite this year. I am still taking that week off from work however. That should be good for my diet and exercise. I ALMOST NEVER have time off from work when I am not sick and we are not going anywhere, so I'm really excited at the opportunity to get a lot of stuff done that I want to get done at home, and that includes exercise too.

That's great that you're walking more, and so awesome about the clothes. Doesn't that make you feel so good?!

Sorry to hear about your arm, but I'm glad you're seeing people to take care of it. My dad and boyfriend make so many excuses instead of just going to get their ailments taken care of... must be a boy thing.

    You're doing really great!!!
